College Fjord

Heading 2

Day 7

Sunday's main feature was College Fyord which is named for the glaciers that had in turn been named for Ivy League colleges. The most active glacier was Harvard Glacier. We saw many calving events and caught several on video as well as still photos. There were many seals on the ice chunks just laying there. The ship lingered at Harvard Glacier for at least an hour turning so that both sides of the ship had a good viewing.

Then on to Whittier which was our last night before going up to Anchorage to catch our plane home.
